Chai Syrup

Ingredients

4½ cups water
1/2 cup coconut sugar
2 tbsp Raspberry leaf tea
3 Dandelion teabags
1 cinnamon sticks
1x3cm fresh ginger sliced
10 whole cloves
10 cardamom pods
½ tsp freshly ground nutmeg
2 whole star anise pods
20 whole black peppercorns
1 whole orange peel (save juice)
1 tsp vanilla paste (add with juice)

Method

1. Bring sugar & water to the boil.
2. Add tea & spices
3. Simmer, lid on for 20 minutes.
4. Leave to cool, then add vanilla & orange juice
5. Squeeze out tea & spices, strain into bottles
6. Keep in fridge (lasts about 1 week)

To make chai:
1/3 chai 1/3 water 1/3 milk of choice heat &
enjoy.
