Rose Liver-Regulating Tea

Rose buds also known as Mei Gui Hua in Chinese herbal medicine and have the effect to regulate Liver Channel Qi, remove the stagnation, harmonise the blood and benefit the woman’s menstruation cycle. Goji berry can nourish and tonify liver and kidney blood and Yin, Jujube fruit can also help nourish liver blood, improve the circulation and calm the spirit. Dried tangerine peels also known as Chen Pi in Chinese herbal medicine, works with Rose Buds to help regulate Liver Qi, resolve phlegm and support digestion.

Ingredients

  • Rose Buds 3g
  • Goji Berry 5g
  • Dried Jujube fruit (Chinese red date) 2
  • Dried tangerine peels 3g

Method

Mix all above herbal ingredients together, simply infuse in 500ml hot water for about 5-10 minutes, then you can start to enjoy your herbal tea!

Dr Yun Shen received her PhD in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Shanghai University of T.C.M 2002. She also holds her Master degree and Bachelor degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese Materia Medica. Dr Shen has intensive experience in Chinese medicine and acupuncture clinic practice, medical research and Chinese Medicine education. Dr Shen has been practicing TCM for over 25 years, also completed her post-doctoral research projects in Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences, China; Garvan institute for medical research (Sydney) and Medical Research Centre, University for Western Australia.  She has more than 15 years teaching experience for TCM and acupuncture both in China and Australia; she worked in Endeavour College of natural Health as Senior Lecturer for 10 years, has extensive experiences with Chinese Medicine practicing and teaching.  Dr Shen established LongHealthCare Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs Clinic with Dr Robert in 2016 in Stirling and then relocated clinic in Dianella. Dr Shen has intensive experiences with women’s health issues, multi-functional disorders management by using acupuncture and Chinese Herbal formula.
