Chilli Ginger Chicken Marinade
My favourite foods are nutritious, easy to prepare, and delicious.
This versatile marinade can be easily customised to create your perfect flavour profile.
Ingredients

- 500g organic chicken, sliced or diced
- 2cm fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tsp Kapapa Chilli
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Sea salt and cracked black pepper, to taste
Method
Method
- In a small bowl, combine the ginger, garlic, chilli, parsley, and olive oil. Stir well to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken in a large bowl and season generously with sea salt and cracked black pepper.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken and mix until evenly coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to develop.
To Cook
Cook the marinated chicken using your preferred method:
- Bake in a preheated oven until cooked through
- Pan fry over medium-high heat until golden and tender
- BBQ for a smoky char-grilled flavour
Serve hot with salad, rice, or grilled vegetables.
Variations:
Adjust the herbs and chilli to suit your personal taste — whether you prefer a mild warmth, a balanced medium heat, or a bold spicy kick.
