Emily started her adult working career as a Registered Nurse in the acute care setting, working as an Intensive Care Nurse and Anaesthetic Nurse. During this time, she cultivated her understanding of human physiology and passion for health. However, whilst working in this area, she became increasingly aware of the impact diet and lifestyle was having on the general population. Over this 10 year period, she also watched her own health decline due to shift work and following the same diet and lifestyle advice her patients were following.
This experience sparked a flame to learn more about preventative health via complementary and traditional medicine and the power of food as medicine. Now, as a Clinical Nutritionist, she is helping people prevent health crises one mouthful at a time.
