Kindness is not just something to aspire to or wish for. It is a quality of the mind that we can cultivate and tap into. Sometimes called the Metta meditation, loving kindness gently eliminates the artificial barriers between ‘I’ and ‘you,’ soothes the mind and reduces feelings of suffering.

Traditional Buddhist practices in different parts of the world have used loving kindness for centuries in the cultivation of happiness, appreciation, joy, compassion, and equanimity.
