A Practical Workshop for Educators and Caregivers of Children under 7 years old based on the principles of anthroposophy and complementary to the Steiner/Waldorf school curriculum.

This hands-on workshop introduces the participant to simple yet powerful experiences of holding and enfolding the human being and are able to be carried into the daily rhythms of the classroom and home life. These practises can be adapted and extended to suit the individual, classroom and family needs and circumstances, harmonising and supporting with inclusivity, whilst building healthy practises of self-care for life that ennobles compassion, consciousness and a healthy sense of ‘I’.
Each participant will be required to bring some basic equipment such as towels, a cloth, and hot water bottle to partake in the workshop. The experience can be assistive for participants heading into sleep as well as for those re-aligning with oneself for the day.
This workshop is within the Developing the Self the Developing the World Health and Wellbeing Program: Healing the Impacts of Technology – Care and Development of the Senses which begins in early childhood. Children and adults are supported towards capacities for community-orientated participation in the world.
